Facebook made some changes again. This time it effected the part on how you add a Facebook Application to your Fan Page. Before they changed that, it was quit easy to add an Application to a iFrame Fan Page but since the last changes it’s not that easy anymore.
But with WPFacePages we make it easy for you to add any App to your Fan Page. You just need to enter your Facebook App ID and click on a link within the plugin settings page. This link can be found on the Fan Page Settings Tab. It’s located at the bottom of the page within a yellow info box. After you entered your App Id and saved the settings, just click on that link and you will get redirected to Facebook where you can choose the Fan Page (from a drop down menu) which you want to add to your Facebook Application.
That’s it. This will add your App to your Fan Page and when you visit your Fan Page after that, you’ll be able to see the newly created tab at the left hand side, just underneath the Fan Page main image.
This new feature has been added to the plugin version 4.0.2 which has been released on January 6th. So if you see the update notification in WordPress, go and update the plugin which will make it easy to add your Facebook Application to your Fan Page.
